As the weather starts to warm up, dessert is moving from warm winter puddings, to cool, smooth and refreshing ice-creams. This nice-cream is nice for your belly as it is dairy-free, refined sugar free and full of flavour. I always keep some frozen bananas so this can be whipped up at a moment’s notice.

Pumpkin Spice Nice-Cream
A dairy-free ice-cream full of the flavour of Autumn

- food processor
Ingredients
- 5 frozen bananas
- 5 pitted medjool dates
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a food processor blitz the frozen bananas until smooth.
- Then add in pitted dates, pumpkin spice, vanilla essence and pinch of salt.
- Blend until well combined.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve immediately or place in airtight container and place in the freezer. If returning it to the freezer, remember to take it out 5 minutes before serving so it has time to soften before serving!
